Kavanah (כַּוָּנָה) is the Hebrew word for intention — the direction of the heart behind an act, rather than the act itself. The same words, said two ways, aren't the same prayer.
We named an analytics platform after it on purpose.
Numbers can't tell you whether your work matters. What they can tell you is where it's actually going — which campaign reached people who kept talking, which one spent your budget and went quiet, which conversations turned into someone a disciple-maker is walking with now. Most teams doing digital outreach are working without any of that. They export from the ad platform, export from the chat tool, export from Disciple.Tools, wrestle a spreadsheet into shape, and hand leadership a number nobody fully trusts. Then they do it again next month.
That's not a reporting problem. It's a stewardship problem. Real money and real hours are going into this work, and the people doing it deserve to know what it produced.
So we built the thing we kept wishing existed: one dashboard where ad spend, conversations, and Disciple.Tools contacts sit side by side on the same date range. Nothing about it is clever. It just connects two halves of the work that have always been reported separately.
What it costs you
Nothing, if you're a mission organization. Kavanah Analytics is donor-supported — you apply for a sponsored license, and someone else funds your seat. Commercial clients pay; you don't.
It's also open source. You can run your own copy on your own servers, which means your reporting isn't something we can ever lock you out of, whatever happens to us.
Built for where you work
A good many of the teams using this serve in places where the wrong screenshot creates real problems for real people. Access is role-scoped, organizations are isolated from each other, and we ask for the minimum we need to make the numbers work. If you have questions your security officer wants answered before you connect anything, we'd rather have that conversation than skip it — start with the security page.
Kavanah Analytics is free for mission organizations, funded by donors.
